Balize Private Estate is situated in what is possibly the most desirable stretch of land within the Sibaya Coastal Precinct. As a residential development focused around coastal living, family and the simpler things in life, Balize is suitably placed, with the surrounding amenities only serving to add further value to this development.

As a precinct spanning over 1000 hectares, it is hard for one to imagine what the Sibaya Coastal Precinct will ultimately be. This precinct has been carefully curated and designed to encompass almost every element you could think of, to become a city of the future. In terms of its geographical location and positioning, the precinct lies between the Umhlanga and Umdloti lagoons with expansion westwards as well. This area has been identified by Tongaat Hulett Developments as a primary growth corridor, meaning that the precinct and its unfolding development will stimulate further development and growth in the area.

Areas of the Sibaya Coastal Precinct have been identified as residential nodes geared around domestic dwellings as opposed to commercial interests. With 7 nodes within the Precinct, only 2 are dedicated to residential developments, and Balize lies within one of these. Life at Balize means that lifestyle amenities lie only steps away from your home. A premium retail piazza sits above Balize offering residents and visitors convenience and choice. Walk hand-in-hand with your children and loved ones in safety and comfort to find restaurants, retail and recreational amenities in a world-class environment. Ideally designed for residential and family living, amenities surrounding Balize Private Estate include a private school and a sports complex as well and will ultimately mean residents of Balize will no longer have the need to commute to far to get to school or medical and retail facilities.

The vision of the Sibaya Coastal Precinct is to integrate living well and environmental sustainability and includes 300 hectares of indigenous coastal forest. As a managed area, the forest will include dedicated boardwalks through the forest and also be a series of interconnected trails for walkers, runners and bikers. Balize is flanked by the natural coastal forest below, which gives residents and visitors the opportunity to explore or use the boardwalks as a thoroughfare down to the Umdloti beachfront.

Like the Sibaya Coastal Precinct, Balize Private Estate has harnessed the beauty of the surrounding natural environment to enhance its design and architecture. With panoramic ocean views form every home, easy access to the indigenous coastal forest, the beach and to the surrounding amenities, Balize is poised to become a destination of choice on KZN’s North Coast and is further enhanced by its positioning within a city for the future- the Sibaya Coastal Precinct.
